Plot of Nosferatu
Let me give you an overview of Nosferatu. The story begins in the 1800s with a lonely young woman, Ellen, who calls out to a supernatural being for comfort. Her plea awakens a mysterious figure who binds her to an eternal promise.
Years later, Ellen is married to Thomas Hutter, and they live peacefully in Wisburg. But when Thomas accepts a job to sell an eerie estate to the reclusive Count Orlok, things take a sinister turn. Ellen, haunted by dark dreams, begs him not to go, but he leaves her in the care of friends and travels to Transylvania.
Thomas finds the locals terrified of Orlok, and strange events unfold as he reaches the Count’s castle. Orlok tricks Thomas into a deal, feeds on him, and sets sail for Wisburg with a ship full of plague-carrying rats.
Back home, Ellen suffers mysterious seizures, and a doctor, with help from an occult scholar, discovers Orlok’s true nature: he is a demonic vampire linked to Ellen through her past. As Orlok’s arrival spreads death and chaos, Ellen learns the only way to stop him is through sacrifice.
In a heartbreaking act of bravery, Ellen lures Orlok to her and keeps him occupied until sunrise. The sunlight destroys him, but Ellen dies in the process. Her sacrifice lifts the plague and saves the town, leaving Thomas to grieve her loss.
